Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between your business and Speur Professional Services Limited (“Speur”, “we”, “us”) for using KrisBiz. By using KrisBiz, you agree to them. Your use of KrisBiz must also follow our Acceptable Use Policy (/acceptable-use). How we handle personal information for your business is set out in our Data Processing Agreement (/data-processing).

The service

KrisBiz offers three products, each sold separately: Front Desk (customer care + appointment booking), PayUp (invoice and payment reminders) and Payroll Lite (payroll). You pay only for the products you choose.

Your WhatsApp Business account

Your business owns its WhatsApp Business account and number. You connect it to KrisBiz and can remove our access at any time. You also agree to follow Meta’s WhatsApp Business terms and policies, including getting your customers’ permission before you message them and honouring their requests to stop.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate information about your business, prices and policies.
  • Use KrisBiz lawfully and only for your business.
  • Have the right to share your customers’ and workers’ information with us.
  • Keep your login details safe and tell us about any misuse.

Payments from your customers

Your customers pay your business directly, through your own payment link or in cash. KrisBiz never holds or moves their money. We only record what you mark as paid.

Fees and billing

Each product has a monthly fee, shown on our pricing section. Current prices are pilot prices. Front Desk’s first month is free: we ask for a card when you sign up, there is no charge if you cancel within the first month, and your first charge comes at the start of month 2. After that, fees are charged monthly to your card. Meta’s WhatsApp message fees are billed to your own WhatsApp Business account and passed through at cost. If a subscription payment fails, we will remind you and may pause the service after a grace period. There is no fixed contract: you can cancel at any time. Subscription fees already paid are not refunded. Prices are in J$ for businesses in Jamaica and US$ elsewhere, with no currency conversion. Your card is stored by our card payment provider, not by us. From time to time we may offer a longer free period, at our discretion, which we will confirm to you in writing. If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and your current price stays the same until then.

Using PayUp

PayUp may only be used to remind your own customers about real invoices for goods or services your business provided. It may not be used by collection agencies, debt buyers or lenders, or for old or written-off debts.

The assistant

The assistant answers from the information you give it and hands chats to you when it isn’t sure. It can make mistakes, so please check what it knows and review its suggestions. It does not use new answers until you approve them.

Your data

Your business information and your customers’ information stay yours. We use them only to provide KrisBiz, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can download your data at any time from your dashboard (customers, bookings, invoices and payments, payroll records and payslips, and your knowledge base) as Excel or CSV files.

Ending the service

You can stop using KrisBiz at any time. Subscription fees already paid are not refunded. You keep your WhatsApp Business account, number and chat history. When you cancel, the service continues until the end of your paid period. For 60 days after that, you have read-only access to view and download your data. After that, your data is archived and is no longer available to you. We may suspend or end the service if these terms are seriously broken or fees stay unpaid. Archived data is kept securely and permanently deleted two years after it is archived, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You or the people in your records can ask for information to be accessed, corrected or deleted by emailing support@krisbiz.com, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Limits of our responsibility

KrisBiz is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and the assistant can make mistakes. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If your breach of our Acceptable Use Policy leads to a claim against Speur, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica handle any disputes.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and tell you about important changes before they take effect.
